I made these cans to test my memory and sense of proportion. As I made them and guessed about what the dimensions had looked like, I was wondering if I would be taking a photograph and comparing or if I would be writing a script which would optimize the dimensions of the paths for the amount that the container is to contain.

Either one would be just as interesting as the other. They also have both been done before.

I inversed the colors and made it to match the size of my desktop.

20 years ago I would have never dreamed of opening a can of anything that said it was 'italian' and make something 'american' like chili from it. Times have changed about that much for me.

The original recipe. I messed up this whole image and I am not going to fix it. The beans to use should say 'Chili Beans' and not 'Pinto Beans' as pictured. That can of chili beans already contains the spices that many of the people born in the Eisenhower years will consider to be too spicy.
