licenses

there are licenses and there are other licenses

Here is the one thing that I can tell you about putting things online and licenses for it, and I share this with you from experience. Trying to put the license on the web pages or images that go online is one of the quickest ways to screw up a design and an idea. Maybe not for everyone, but it was this way for me.

licenses

personal work (writing and images)

Here are the licenses that I might use for any images made by me or for any of my writing or images there:

Some of the stuff found there might not be mine to give, so please contact me if you would like to print or republish anything found in those sections mentioned here.

GIMP and software stuff

I am fairly certain that everything within the gimp directory and also within the gimp2 directory is already licensed with Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike, The scripts I have written should appear with the gpl in the comments. Creative Commons GNU GPL also has a page for this. The scripts were written in python and usually for GIMP.

Please feel free to ask about anything found within the old gimp stuff or the new GIMP stuff. Not only are some of the images there not mine to use necessarily, I also stole some and questioned their integrity. Better to just ask me what the license is.

not a license

So far, this is a list of one. The image of Wilber the mascot for GIMP. It is a mascot for the software and it also shares the name with a computer located at the University of Berkeley.
