My first web site showed off my ability with LaTeX, some stuff I had done with TheGIMP and some scripts I had been trying to write. You could load these pages I wrote for Netscape 3 into Microsofts Front Page with no complaints. I used online url checking utilities to help me write it properly and except for very ugly tooltips, looked good enough in all of the browsers.

Now that I have learned about xhtml, xml, validation and tableless design (what was the reason for this?) many of my web pages are broken, misguided and embarrassing. It is time to let everyone know how I do this with gimp2.
