The Gradient Editor

I needed to use more of the gradient editor options to make this marble image than I did in the first gradient tutorial.

The fact that this is actually the first tutorial about the gradient editor does not matter, especially since they are in the process of rewriting it even as I update this tutorial.

Make a clear green gradient

I started with a green in the toolbox foreground and making a copy of the FG to Transparent gradient the same way outlined in the previous tutorial.

The best first thing to do is to rename the gradient to something logical to you and save it.

Gradient Construction

This tutorial uses simple tools (the same ones I use very often) to make these marbles. What is different about this tutorial is that it makes more than elementary use of the gradient editor.
