You can now remove or delete bookmarks from the menu that you get when you right click on them. In this example, I am removing the bookmark for my gimp2 web site stuff since all new work should be going on in a directory named gimp.

ctll

ctl L

Even though the heading to this description is "ctl L" you do not need to type <ctl> L to get to this dialog. Merely typing while the dialog is focused should work. Once there, you will be treated to auto completion and menu choices limited by what you first started to type.

Anybody using gimp since 1.0 or even 1.2 might find this behavior to be a little spooky. So far, it seems to work well, once the emotional trauma from the change has been overcome by the seasoned gimp user experiencing this dialog for the first few times.
