same old stuff, some of it looks new
Sometimes I write tutorials because I like GIMP. Sometimes it is because the same question is asked over and over again. Lately, the tutorials seem to becoming more of a commentary of what a trite and cruel community the gimpdom has become.
No matter what your reasons for reading this stuff is, there is a chance that what you are looking for is not there.
Enjoy!
There are several new pages and a few new sections -- a lot of repetition and semi-redundancy as well.
In truth, I have lost more pages about GIMP than I have published.
Almost everytime these pages were removed it was because there was a GIMP team that needed me to fail. Maybe an author who lives close to me, maybe it was a married, funded and employed girl who wanted to help.
It is an interesting feeling. Where you feel like you have tried everything and then the final answer that you get is that people do not like it when you are angry and hurt.
To the publishers of the books and to the funders of the graphics meetings, you are whole-heartedly welcome. I would like to be understood as being a team player. Weird that players on the same team would feel like they need to take a dive, the way you play. So, for everything I don't know and everything I thought I was doing, here is a hearty 'You are welcome' to the thank you that you forgot to send to me.
