Toad's Book Club

Albert Guibara, 1999

Public Library

585 Franklin Street

I don't know about kids. I looked at this lovely vignette placed strategically in front of the Public Library, even before we started this tour officially -- I loved it (actually paused and looked at it). Silly, I could imagine the toads living in the tree and it was fun.

When I was growing up, I liked the stories about little things living places.

Also, this adult was glad to see that the sculpture did not seem to be interfering with the beautiful tree it appears with.
