Once installed, you can find this very simple script in the Xtns menu in a new directory there called "templates".
This template maker makes 3 different templates. They still require some understanding of the limitations of printing to use effectively. They should all appear ready to produce 300dpi prints.
cd liner
There are two layers for this template. The lower layer is white and is ready to accept your background image. The second layer is transparent and does not include the bleed edges. GIMP's different sized layers can assist you while you layout the additional artwork and text for your cd liner (keep it within those yellow and black borders).
dvd liner
There are (also) two layers for this template. The lower layer is white and is ready to accept your background image. The second layer is transparent and does not include the bleed edges. GIMP's different sized layers can assist you while you layout the additional artwork and text for your cd liner (keep it within those yellow and black borders). Guides have been added where the fold lines should occur.
disc artwork
A single layer for this template. The outer gray circle should be the whole disc, the inner transparent layer should be where the artwork goes with the solid center showing where the artwork should not go.
